Authentic, Spanish and charming – more and more discover Estepona!

Bienvenido a Estepona! Our hearts are pounding hard for the city we love, live and work in. We know the city, its heartbeat, people, neighborhoods and surroundings. We will be your personal guide and broker when you will find your dream home here!

It is easy to speak warm for such a wonderful place as Estepona, a genuine city that lives its Spanish life all year round with vegetable markets and ham festivals, with solemn processions with saints and spirited parades. Cultural life is vibrating with outdoor concerts and guided mural-tours around the city.

The beaches remind little of those in Rio de Janeiro, they are tall, wide, and invite to play, flirt or exercise where they follow the immensely popular seafront where people skate rollerblades, watch other people or just walk the dog. One strolling between the city’s cafes and the beach’s chiringuitos, the simple restaurants with grilled fish on the spit. You are rarely dressed up, the line between the beach and the city flows together and makes life pleasantly relaxed.

Once Estepona was a little slumbering fishing village, today the city has spread along the coast and up the mountains, but consciously kept its low “skyline” and even though the city has now grown up, with nearly 70 000 inhabitants, it kept its ”spanishity” and its openness towards us who come curious and want to be involved, want to understand and be a part of it. Estepona is a natural and less well-groomed little sister to Marbella, less “blingbling” and a more genuine being so to speak. The fishing port and its auction are still an important part of the city and the fleet sails out in the ”blue hour” every night except Sundays. In the Marina there are lively bars and restaurants open all year and the boats have not eaten Puerto Banús steorides but look healthy normally, making most visitors feel at ease and not measuring the prestige in number of feet.

The dense and charming old town has in recent years been given such a “make-over” that people who visited Estepona say ten years ago do not recognize themselves! The city’s visionary mayor Jose Maria Garcia Urbano not only has been renovating all the streets with cobblestones, but also clad every wall with colorful flower pots filled with geraniums. The city really live up to the epic “El Jardin de Costa del Sol”.
